This page helps viewers find out which Indian TV programmes currently carry Same Language Subtitling (SLS) and on which channels to watch them. SLS shows on-screen subtitles in the same language as the audio. Channels are checked in two rounds each month, so the page is refreshed every fortnight.

How we check

We monitor Indian TV channels on paid DTH and Free Dish, in languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali and Malayalam. Each month, every monitored channel is recorded for a full 24 hours, and our team reviews the recordings for programmes with SLS. Programme names, timings and telecast days are checked against the channel's schedule, and each programme is tracked month to month to show whether SLS has started, continued or stopped. Since each channel is checked for only one day a month, programmes airing on other days may not appear until a later check.
